Accessibility statement

Our commitment

OSKA Shop Deutschland GmbH wants everyone to be able to use www.oska.com, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of how the site is built and maintained.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible. They set out three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

We work to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act currently reference WCAG 2.1 Level AA; we test against the newer WCAG 2.2 so that we already meet the version expected to be referenced next.

www.oska.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the site meets the standard, but some parts do not yet meet it or have not yet been fully assessed.

How we test

We test every page template automatically, in both English and German. In the most recent run, on 26 August 2026, no Level A or Level AA issues were found on any page tested.

We also test by hand: navigating the site with a keyboard alone, and measuring text contrast against the actual photographs behind it.

Automated tools can only detect part of what matters. A full manual assessment, including testing with screen readers, is planned and not yet complete. Until that is done, we describe the site as partially conformant rather than fully conformant.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible:

  • Our seasonal lookbooks are published on an external platform, which we do not control and cannot guarantee the accessibility of. If you would like the content in another format, please contact us and we will send it to you.
  • Store pages include an embedded map from Google. We do not control how it behaves with assistive technology. The address and opening hours are always given as text on the page as well.
  • Some links open in a new window without telling you in advance.
  • Two short films on the site have subtitles but no audio description. If you need a description of what is shown, please contact us and we will provide one.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of www.oska.com. If you find a barrier, please tell us the address of the page and what went wrong.

E-mail: info@oska.com

We try to respond to feedback within 3–5 business days.

If you could not reach information because of an accessibility barrier, we will provide it in another format.

Market surveillance authority

The competent market surveillance authority is the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF).
