Updating Kahli
Q: What does Update mean?
A: Update, is very simply the process of updating animation sequences after you have registered Kahli. This allows you access to all of the animation that Kahli has available.
Your first update of Kahli will be quite long as the file is approximately 17MB. Any subsequent Updates will generally be quite small and fast to download.
Please be patient if this is your first Update. If your internet connection is particularly slow you can cancel the Update at any stage. Any information that has downloaded successfully before you cancel will not need to be downloaded again. This will allow you to Update Kahli later in the day when the Internet is not so busy or when you may have more time available.
A: Only a few of Kahli's sequences are downloaded with the FREE demonstration version. Once you have registered Kahli, you need to Update her sequences so that you can see all of the animation that Kahli has available.

Q: How do I Update Kahli?
STEP 1:
If Kahli is not running, you will need to start her by double clicking the Kahli shortcut on your desktop. Once Kahli is running, double click on her. The following "Dialog" window will appear.
Press the Update Button.
STEP 2:
The following screen may appear.
If this is the first time that you have updated Kahli please be patient. The first update includes all of the animation sequences that Kahli has available and as the file is quite large it will take some time to download.
Press

to proceed with the update.
The following Update screen will appear.
As initial download is approximately 17MB. If your Internet connection is slow, simply cancel and update later. Any data that has been successfully downloaded before you cancel will not need to be updated again.
If you already have the latest version of Kahli on your computer the following screen will appear after a few moments.
If this occurs simply press the

Button and return to viewing Kahli.
If there are new Updates for Kahli, the screen will remain and give you a progressive indication of how the Update download is proceeding.
Please Note: You can press

at any stage to cancel this update. You can always download Kahli later in the day or when you may have more time available. Any animation that you download prior to canceling the Update will not need to be downloaded again. When you recommence the download, Kahli will only download those sequences that are not installed on your computer.
STEP 3:
Press the

Button once the Update is completed.
If this is the first time that you have updated Kahli, the dialog window will display the following.
Congratulations!!! You have successfully Updated Kahli. We hope that you enjoy all of animation sequences.
Q: Why does the first Update of Kahli take so long to complete?
A: The first Update of Kahli contains all of her animation sequences. This file is about 17MB in size, so dependent upon your modem and your Internet connection it can take some time to download.
Please remember that you can Update Kahli at any time. If you wish you can Update her later in the day when the Internet may not be as busy or when you may have more time available.
Note: Your first Update of Kahli will take the longest time to download. Any subsequent Updates that you run for Kahli will generally be quite small and will include any programming changes or 'bug fixes' for Kahli and will be very fast to download.
Q: An error occurred during the Update of Kahli and the Update did not complete. What do I do now?
A: Unfortunately we have no control over errors that occur on the Internet. If a problem does occur please repeat the steps and Update Kahli again.
Kahli's Update procedure is progressive. Any information that was Updated prior to the error occurring on the Internet remains on your computer. When you resume the Update it will continue from where it was interrupted.
