Oska Software Privacy Policy

1. This document sets forth Oska Software's Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") for its software and web sites, including but not limited to: www.oska.com, www.deskmates.com and www.cards-n-toons.com (the "Sites"). If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not download or install the software or access or use these Sites.
2. DeskMates do not contain "spyware" or "adware". Full versions of any of our DeskMate characters are unlocked using Product Keys licensed to our registered users. DeskMate Product Keys remain the property of Oska Software and are, of course, validated prior to authorizing the unlocking and downloading of any full version. With the exception of validating genuine Product Keys and licenses, Oska does not collect information through software downloaded from its Sites..
3. DeskMates do not contain viruses. To ensure software integrity and end user safety, Oska uses VeriSign's Code Signing Digital IDs. VeriSign's Digital IDs alert users if the software has been modified or tampered with in any way after release. Oska strongly recommends that you only download and install software from independently authenticated publishers and websites. Oska's corporation documentation, address, contact details and site ownership have been independently verified by VeriSign and Network Solutions, two of our industry's largest and most respected organizations.
4. Oska's Trademarks are registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
5. DeskMate software has an optional automated update feature which ensures that the application software and character database up to date. This update feature has been put in place to ensure that DeskMate users get the most out of the DeskMate software and animation. If the user does not wish to update or automatically update the software, the feature can be deactivated using the DeskMate's right-click menu and/or the DeskMate Dialog (Settings).
6. Oska maintains an email address database of Registered DeskMate users and Subscribers of the Toons Newsletter. If you are a subscribed user, you may Unsubscribe Here.

Newsletter and Email Addresses

If you are a subscribed user:

1. You will ONLY receive the Newsletter approximately once a month.
2. Your email address is never rented, sold or otherwise disclosed to any company.
3. Your email address remains strictly confidential and you may unsubscribe at any time.

5. You will not receive SPAM from us.
6. The Toons Newsletter DOES NOT contain sponsored advertisements.
7. The content is exclusively animation, namely new eCards and DeskMate updates/upgrades from Oska Software.
8. Each monthly newsletter has a link at the bottom allowing you to immediately unsubscribe from further newsletters.
